SHERWOOD, LAWRENCE ALFRED - The death of Lawrence Alfred Sherwood occurred peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, March 10, 2003. He was born in Upham, Kings County, November 22, 1923 son of the late Frank and Caroline (Kilpatrick) Sherwood. Lawrence was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by his sister Althea Tayes, brothers Clifford and Raymond. He is survived by his wife Angel, sons Les (Elsie) of Hammond River, Greg of Treherne, Manitoba, Jeff (Andrea) of Renforth; daughter Suellen of Saint John; special friend Darlene Adams of Saint John; grandson Chris (Melissa); and great grandson Mark. Lawrence worked at Crystal Ice, Moncton and Saint John, T.S. Simms and Canadian Tire West. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 937 and St. Alphonsus Church, Hampton. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Thursday at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with service at 1:00pm. Rev. Kevin Barry officiating.? Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, Upham in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations to N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation or Nauwigewauk Education Fund would be appreciated by the family.
