MIRIAM LOUISE (ALLEN) PHILLIPS
PHILLIPS, MIRIAM LOUISE (ALLEN) - Miriam Louise (Allen) Phillips of Tracy, N.B. died peacefully at home on March 13, 2003 at the age of 75. Miriam is survived by her Husband Byron L. Phillips, one Daughter Kathy Nason (Larry) of Tracy, one Son Kevin Phillips (Dianne) of Tracy, one Brother Lyman Allen (Irene) of Halifax, sister-in-law Joyce Allen of Tracy, five grandchildren Jennifer (Richard), Elizabeth, Jonathan, Rebekah and Amy, two adopted Sons Nelson Felix Kofie (Nancy) of USA and Semi Ogunrinde (Remi) of Sask, several nieces and nephews. Miriam was an active member of St. Mark's Anglican Church and a member of ACW, Atlantic Christian Ashram, Women Aglow and Mother's Union. She was a Registered Nurse who worked in the community with Doctor F. A. McGrand. She also worked as a book keeper for M. E. Phillips and Son Ltd. Most of her married life she stayed at home to raise her family. She published a book entitled "Facts and Folklore (Tracy and Little Lake Area)" and was inspired to write poetry. She is predeceased by her parents Constance (Worth) and Bernard Allen and one brother Bernard Allen Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to St. Mark's Anglican Church, Tracy, N.B. for visitation on Friday 7-9 and on Saturday 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be from St. Mark's Anglican Church on Sunday March 16, 2003 at 2:30 pm with Rev. Neville Cheeseman officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Mark's Cemetery.
