WHEATON, EDWARD M. - Age 74, of Live Oak, Florida died Thursday March 13, 2003 at his residence. He was born in Deleware County, Pennsylvania. He resided in Saint John New Brunswick until 1964 where he was an independent contractor and Home builder. Mr. Wheaton moved to Live Oak, FL. in 1990 from Tampa, Florida. He was involved in the Refractory Industry and the construction of the Occidental plant as a master brick mason. He is a member of the Bricklayers and Mason International Local #1 Tampa, Fl. and is a member of the Hillsborough Masonic Lodge #25 F&AM. He attended the First Church of the Nazarene of Live Oak, FL. He is the son of the late Hartley and Edith Martin Wheaton. He is predeceased by his wife of 41 years Mamie Kirkpatrick Wheaton. He is survived by his two sons David Wheaton of St. Petersburg, FL. and Douglas (Jan) Wheaton of Riverview, FL. daughters; Heather (Michael) Hale of Plant City, FL. and Linda McClamma of Boynton Beach, FL. sister; Margaret O'Dell of Riverview New Brunswick, Canada, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, seven nephews and six nieces also survive. Funeral services will be held on Monday March 17, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. in the First Church of the Nazarene of Live Oak with Rev. Louis Madaris officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 P.M. Sunday in Suwannee Funeral Home 932 North Ohio Ave. Live Oak, FL.. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Gideons International.
