McASKILL, EDWARD (NED) - The death of Edward (Ned) McAskill of Northern Wilderness Lodge and formerly of Riley Brook, occurred on March 19, 2003 at the Tobique Valley Hospital at the age of 85. Born in Riley Brook. He is survived by his children Edward (Ted) McAskill and Andrew (Audrey) McAskill both of Walterton, Ont., Gaynel (Michael) Beaman of Norton, NB and Robert (Heather) McAskill of Clayton, Ont.; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one sister Myrtle LeBel of Plaster Rock; two brothers Clyde McAskill of Riley Brook and Philip (Georgie) McAskill of Plaster Rock. Predeceased by his wife Glenna (Faulkner) McAskill, Andrew and Elizabeth (Parish) McAskill, three sisters, two brothers and infant daughter. Resting at White's Chapel, Plaster Rock with visiting hrs on Friday March 21, 2003 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM with a Legion Service at 7:30 PM followed by a Masonic and Eastern Star Services. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 22, 2003 at 2 PM from White's Chapel with Rev. Ellen Flemming officiating. Interment in the Riley Brook Community Cemetery at a later date.
