HAWKES, GEORGE DALLAS - The death of Dallas Hawkes of Sussex occurred at the Sussex Health Center on March 20, 2003. Dallas is survived by his wife Eleanor, son Wayne, daughter-in-law Judy, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by son Douglas, brothers Earle, Albin and Vincent and sister Marguerite DeBow. Dallas volunteered for many organizations and was recently honored for 50 years of service as Treasurer of Trinity Anglican Church, Sussex. Arrangements are in the care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home (506-433-2133). At his request there will be no visiting. The funeral will be held at the Trinity Anglican Church, Sussex, on Sunday March 23, 2003 at 2:00 PM. Interment at Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner, later in the spring.
