Sydney Mines It is with a heavy and broken heart I announce the passing of my mother, our grandmother, sister and friend. Sister passed away peacefully at home Sunday, July 27, 2008. Born and raised in Sydney Mines, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Aggie (Norman) Glogowski. Sister was a member of St. Pius X Church, Sydney Mines. She worked for a number of years with National Sea Products. Sister loved being with her friends, playing darts, cards or dancing. Sister is survived by her only daughter, Raylene (David) Jessome (daughter of Raymond Bailey); two shining stars, her grandchildren, David and Kelsie; her companion and best friend, David Winstanley; brothers, John and Frank (Rita) Glogowski; sisters, Mae Cousins, Jean Finney, Sheila Glogowski (Dannie), all of Sydney Mines, sister, Brenda (Harold Bailey), Fort McMurray; and several nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her great neighbour and best friend, Mae Forrest. Sister was predeceased by a son in infancy, John Raymond. Cremation has taken place. a memorial mass to celebrate the life of Patricia Bailey will be held on Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, Sydney Mines, with Fr. Hughie MacNeil officiating; with burial in parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sister’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
