BEATRICE PEARL (BURLOCK) ALLAN

ALLAN, BEATRICE PEARL (BURLOCK)- The death of Beatrice Pearl Allan occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on March 26th, 2003. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Born in Moncton in 1925. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Alice Bullock. She is survived by her husband Lewis A. Allan; two children Christine deJong, husband Frans, Keswick Ridge, and William (Bill) Allan, wife Debbie of Rothesay. She will be sorely missed by her five grandchildren Jennifer and Vanessa (her rosebuds), Erik, Daniel, and Jeffery. Bea was an active member of the Four Square Gospel Church and was gifted with a generous spirit. She was a devoted volunteer and was honoured by the Beta Sigma Phi by being named woman of the year for her work in nursing homes. Bea and Lewis enjoyed spending the winters in Florida, in a Christian community and will be sadly missed by her many friends there. Bea was talented in arts and crafts and most recently enjoyed tole painting and working with dried flowers. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home (646-2424), 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John NB. With visiting on Saturday from 7-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday March 31 at 11:00 am at Glenview United Church and will be jointly conducted by Rev Wilfred Pelley and Pastor Fred Farren. A reception will follow at the church; interment will take place after the reception at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
