ARMSTRONG, ALTON B. - Alton Beverly Armstrong, 72, of Slater Ave. Salisbury passed away Friday March 28, 2003 at the Moncton Hospital. Born at Jeffries Corner, Kings Co. he was a son of the late Edgar A. and Sarah (McFarland) Armstrong. Alton attended St. John's Anglican Church, Salisbury , was a retired employee of Maritime Beverages and together with his wife were members of the Canadian Kennel Club. Survived by his wife of 52 years Edith L. (Whynott), daughters Dianne Lawson (Wesley) of Riverview, Gail MacLeod (Brent) of Salisbury, sons David (Faye) and Wayne (Brenda) of Petitcodiac, Ronald (Carolyn) of River Glade, and seven grandchildren. Survived also by brothers Lloyd E. of Roachville and Curtis R. (Joan) of Sussex Corner, a sister Ruth Armstrong of Moncton and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Ralph C. and a grandson Joel. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home , 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting hours Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday March 30 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Albert Snelgrove Officiating. Interment at Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Sussex Corner.
