MICHAUD, DAISY - The death of Daisy (Whitford) Michaud, wife of the late Rineau Michaud occurred at the Loch Lomond Villa Nursing Home, Saint John, on April 11, 2003. Born in London England she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Daisy (Wood) Whitford. Daisy was a war bride and a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary RCL Branch # 33, Edmonston, NB. She was active in IODE and at the Villa she was an adopted grandparent for The Boys and Girls Club of Saint John, along with many other volunteering duties. She was a kind, caring, loving and devoted mother and grandmother to 6 daughters, 2 sons, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, she will be sadly missed. She is survived by daughters Valerie Bennett (Fred) Memphis, Tenn. USA, Patricia Picard (Gerald), Edmonston, NB, Maureen Michaud (John Bagnall), Fredericton, NB, Susan Stevens (Richard), Saint John, NB, Barbara Oliver (Kenneth), Fredericton, NB, Denise McCallum (Robert) Courtice, Ont., two sons Maurice Michaud (Marguerite Gourdeau), Montreal, Que., John Michaud, Montreal, Que., one cousin Betty Windmill, Gosport, England. She is predeceased by one sister Lily. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (634-7424). There will be no visitation at the request of the family. A memorial service will be held on Monday April 14, 2003, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Loch Lomond Villa, Saint John.
