McQUINN, MARY "ALICE" - Mary "Alice" McQuinn, of Penobsquis, passed away at her residence on April 14, 2003. Born in Harcourt, NB on July 11, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Una (Baxter) Atkinson. Alice is survived by her beloved husband Leslie, five children: Doug (Glenys), Ruth McQuinn, Lorna Balemans (Bill), David (Colleen), Don (Lois), her brother, Bruce Atkinson (Carolyn) her sisters-in-law, Phyllis Atkinson and Marjorie Atkinson, her brother-in-law, Burton McQuinn (Jayne), her sister-in-law, Pearl DeLong (Gordon), 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Alice was predeceased by her brothers, Harold, Hubert and Edward (Ted) Atkinson. Arrangements in care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Wednesday 2-4, 7-9. The Funeral Service is from St. Paul's United Church on Thursday, April 17, 2003 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place at Kirk Hill Cemetery in the spring.
