SCOTT, ROGER - Roger Scott, 69, of Stonehaven, died Wednesday (April 23, 2003) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Bathurst he was the son of the late Clayton Scott and late Lillian (Cormier) (Scott) Branch. He worked for Brunswick Mines and was a member of the Company's Quarter Century Club. He was pre-deceased by his wife, the former Margaret Gildard. He is survived by: 1 Son: Herb Scott (Lise) of Stonehaven 1 Daughter: Lillian Coombs (James) of Pokeshaw 2 Sisters: Betty Garrett (Melvin) and Jean Lavigne (Norman) both of Bathurst 4 Grandchildren, Jesse, Kevin, James, Jacob, several nieces and nephews. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Friday afternoon (April 25, 2003) at 2:00 p.m. from Central United Church, Clifton. Burial will be in the Spruce Grove Union Cemetery later in the spring.
