BRADBURY, ALLAN PRITER - 63, of Grand Manan passed away after a brief illness at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, May 2nd, 2003. Born in Grand Harbour he was the son of the late Stephen and Gladys (Rahnall) Bradbury. Allan served as Light Keeper on Gannet Rock and later Machias Seal Island for several years and then established his own business B & B Trucking on Grand Manan trucking freight to and from Grand Manan Island. Allan leaves to mourn his wife Bonnie (Flagg) at home, one step daughter Adalia Hinsdale (Martin Daggett), of Castalia, one step son Jason Hinsdale (Tracy) of Wolfville, N.S., three sisters Elizabeth Guptill (Burton), Virginia Teakles (Lloyd) both of Saint John, Janet Bradbury of Oromocto, N.B., as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one brother Grant. The family will receive friends and relatives at Ells Funeral Home Saturday 7-9 PM, Sunday 2-4, 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Grand Harbour Baptist Church on Monday, May 5th, at 1 PM with Rev. Troy Dennis officiating, interment to follow in the family plot North Head Community Cemetery. The family have requested donations to the Grand Harbour Baptist Church Memorial Fund, Charlotte County Cancer Society, or the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation.
