LONG, MARJORIE LUCILLE - The death of Marjorie Lucille (Smith) Long, 86, of Hampton, widow of Elbert J. Long occurred May 6, 2003 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Berwick Corner on August 12, 1916, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary (Ellison) Smith.? She is survived by seven daughters Sylvia Chow of Toronto, Dorothy Roberts of Berwick, Betty Long at home, Susan Woodley (Rus) of Saint John, Judy Russell (Eddy) of Hampton, Lynn Cripps of Saint John, Margo Poitras (Steven) of Norton; seven sons George and special friend Lois Duffus of Saint John, Elbert (Evelyn) of Saint John, Murray (Barb) of Hampton, John (Noreen) of Saint John, Ronnie at home, Stephen "Flat" Long and Gail of Hampton, Gerry (Carol) of Saint John; two sisters Dorothy Marr of Quispamsis, Helen Graham of Needham, Massachusetts; 23 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by twin sons Robert and Frederick and daughter Mary Elizabeth. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Friday at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with service at 1:00 pm. ?Interment in Hampton Rural Cemetery.
