WALSH, DANA EOLA - Unexpectedly at the K.W. Health Center of Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, Ontario, on May 4th, 2003, Mrs. Dana Eola (Mitchell) Walsh of 8 Snyder Avenue, Elmira, Ontario, wife of the late Ray K. Walsh, formerly of Blacks Harbour, NB. Born in Back Bay, NB on March 17, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Ella (Leavitt) Mitchell. Dana is survived by a special nephew, Jeffrey Holland (Janet) of St. Clements, Ontario; four grand-children, Nicole, Jodi, Shawn, and Kelly; two brothers, Sam (Erma) and Thomas Mitchell, both of Back Bay, NB. She was pre-deceased, besides her husband, by one daughter, Susan Sellers. Dana had been employed by Connors Brothers as a packer for many years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Blacks Harbour for many years. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB. The service will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church in Blacks Harbour on Friday at 2 pm, followed by interment in the Pennfield Rural Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
