MAWHINNEY, ISABELLA - At the age of 84, at her residence in Quispamsis, NB, on Tuesday, May, 13th, 2003; Isabella Mary Lillian (Brown) (Gilchrist) Mawhinney, wife of the late William Mawhinney of 6 Hovey Road Quispamsis, NB. Born in Saint John, NB she is the daughter of the late Charles and Isabella Brown. Isabella was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 58. Isabella is survived by her daughters Isabella Miller (Ralph) of Rothesay, NB, Carol Kyffin (George) of Quispamsis, Lynda Sharpe (Richard) of Sarnia, Ontario, and her special daughter Karen Harlow (Larry) of Saint John, two brothers Roland (Connie) Brown and Douglas (Phyllis) Brown all of Saint John, sister Doreen Macaluso (Joe) of Surrey, B.C., nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, cousins, nieces and nephews. Isabella was predeceased by sister Grace, brother Charles. Resting at Castle "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home, 154 Old Hampton Road, Rothesay, NB (506-849-1702) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, May, 17th, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Kings Chapel Reception Lounge. A private family interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery at a later date. Visitation at the funeral home will be on Thursday from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donors choice.
