MARY S. "MAISY" AUCOIN
AUCOIN, MARY S. "MAISY" - The death of Mary S. "Maisy" Aucoin of 170 Princess St., widow of Arthur Aucoin, occurred at her residence on Friday, May 16, 2003. Mrs. Aucoin was born in Glace Bay, N.S., a daughter of the late John and Mary Jane (Ryan) O'Connell, and had resided the greater part of her life in Saint John. She had been employed as a Nurse's Aid in the nursery at St. Joseph's Hospital for over 20 years. She was pre-deceased by an infant daughter, Lois Ann; a brother, John Thomas O'Connell; and a sister, Kathleen Buckley. She is survived by her companion of 30 years, James Bradford; two sons, Ronald A. Aucoin of Saint John, and Daniel S. Aucoin (Denise) of Rothesay; five daughters Eileen B. Elliott (Frederick) of Brighton, Mich., Audrey M. Murray (Joe) of Saint John, "Dianne" Elizabeth Aucoin of Ottawa, M. Katherine "Kathy" Mace of Australia, and Marilyn F. Teehan (Eric) of Advocate Harbour, N.S.; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., from where the funeral will be held on Wednesday morning at 11:45 to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for Mass of Christian Burial at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
