DORIS MARGUERITE WEYMAN
WEYMAN, DORIS MARGUERITE - The death of Doris Weyman of Saint John, widow of Dr. Stephen Weyman occurred May 24, 2003 at the residence of her son, David. She was born in Saint John, daughter of the late Rudman and Margaret (Emerson) Allan. She lived in Saint John and Hampton most of her life. Doris was a graduate of Saint John High School and U.N.B. Fredericton. She was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church in Hampton and Saint John. She was a docent at the New Brunswick Museum and a member of the Naturalist Society. Doris was an avid gardener, photographer and cook. Her creations will be fondly remembered by many. She was the proverbial good woman behind the good man. She kept things going on the home front while Steve concentrated on his patients, constituents and volunteer work. She is survived by one son David (Gail) of Saint John; two grandchildren Shauna and Stephen of Saint John; brother Donald Allan and five nephews: Tedd, Peter and Scott Weyman, Marc and Craig Allan. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Allan. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Wednesday at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Hampton, with service at 2 pm. Rev. Ed Coleman officiating. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
