SHAUGHNESSY, WILLIAM GRAHAM (LORD) - Born 1922 in Montreal, Canada. Died May 22, 2003. Son of William and Mary Shaughnessy. Predeceased by his parents, his wife Mary and son Patrick. He was the grandson of Rt. Hon. Lord Shaughnessy 3rd President of Canadian Pacific Railway. He succeeded to the Hereditary Title in 1938 and was an active sitting member of the House of Lords until 1999. He maintained his interest in Canadian business and politics and remained very close to his Canadian family spending some part of every summer in Saint Andrews, N.B. He is survived by his son, Michael and daughters Brigid and Marion Kathleen and granddaughter Emma. He will be cremated in England on May 29th and his ashes taken to Montreal, Canada for burial in the Last Post Fund Military Cemetery in Pointe Claire, Quebec.
