HUGHES, JENNIE GERTRUDE - Of Rocamaura Nursing Home, died peacefully on May 28th, 2003 in her 93rd year. She was born in Bains Corner and was the wife of the late Kenneth Godsoe and the late Basil Hughes and daughter of the late A. Stanely and Annie Armstrong. Mrs. Hughes was a resident of Fairvale for 25 years but spent the greater part of her life in Bains Corner and St. Martins. She was a former member of Fairvale Outting Association and member of Bains Corner United Church. She leaves behind to mourn, her daughter Shirley Hunter of Bains Corner, one sister Victoria Burnett of Saint John, one step son Lawrence Hughes (Irma) of Seminole, Florida, two step daughters Blanche Prince (Jack) of Petticodiac, Betty Earle (Ronald) of Bloomfield, one son in law Thomas McBride, many grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, step great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a wide circle of friends. Predeceased by one daughter Winnifred McBride and son Robert Godsoe and son in law Trueman Hunter. Resting at A.W. Cavanagh Funeral Home, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visiting on Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The service will be held on Friday at 1pm in Cavanagh's Chapel.
