MAUNDER, JEAN M. - At the Sussex Health Centre on Monday, May 26th, 2003, Jean Muriel (Lawrence) Maunder of Rothesay, NB. Born in Fairvale, NB, she was the daughter of the late Charles Alfred and Florence (Maine) Lawrence. Jean lived her earlier years on Marr Road, Rothesay then moved in the 1940's to Montreal where she worked for a number of years with United Shoe Machinery, returning in 1969. Jean was a member of the Golden Age Bowlers Club and the Kennebecasis Senior Citizens Club. Jean is survived by her sister Marion Burns of Rothesay, NB, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her four sisters Grace, Gladys, Lillian and Dorothy and four brothers, Leonard, Percy, Sydney and Fred. By Jean's request there will be no visitation at the funeral home, however the family wishes to invite family and friends to Jean's funeral service to be held in the chapel of Castle "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home, 154 Old Hampton Road, Rothesay, NB (506-849-1702) on Saturday, May 31st, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers remembrances to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
