NICOLLE, GEORGE W. - The death of Mr. George W. Nicolle, loving husband of Geraldine (Payne), of Saint John, occurred on Monday June 2, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born May 27, 1936 in Bonne Bay, Newfoundland he was the son of Harriett (Major) Nicolle and the late Phillip Nicolle. Besides his wife and mother he is survived by his sons Anthony (Jackie) of New Market, Ontario, Ronald (Judy) of Saint John, Owen of Ontario and Wade Payne of Trout River, NF; daughters Susan (Raymond) Myers of Saint John and Lamanda Somchanh (Paul Bennett) of New Market, Ontario; brothers Walter (Vida) of Three Mile Rock, NF, Clifford, Wilson (Joyce), James (Laverne), Gary, Ernest all of Rocky Harbour, NF, Wade (Rachel) of Edmonton and Kevin (Karen) of Saint John; sisters Laura (John) of Edmonton, Dora (Guy) Timmons of Saint John, Shirley (Clayton) Pittman of Corner Brook, NF, Linda (Irving) Decker of Rocky Harbour, NF, Dianne Decker of Steady Brook, NF and Eileen Nicolle of Rocky Harbour, NF; 16 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother Raymond. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday June 3, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday June 4, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Following cremation interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens on Thursday June 5, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. The family would appreciate donations made to the charity of the donor's choice. www.fundyfuneralhome.com
