GLADYS I. COSMAN

COSMAN, GLADYS I. - The death of Gladys Irene Cosman, formerly of Cunard Street, Saint John, wife of the late Reginald Augustus Cosman, occurred on Tuesday, June 3, 2003, at Kennebec Manor Nursing Home. Born in Saskatoon, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Emma (Straight) Fisher. Mrs. Cosman was a resident of Saint John most of her life. She was a member of Douglas Avenue Christian Church, member of the Quilting Society and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Church and was a former member of the Charlton Place Senior Citizens and the Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons, Douglas R. (Norma), of Halifax, NS and Donald I. (Marie) of Fort Nelson, BC, two daughters, Phyllis Gallop (Daryl) and Vivian Porter (James) both of Saint John, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Nellie Cook, Della Wadlin, Etta McEachern, Lillie Gallop, Edith Lewis and Ada Cook and brothers, Ivor and Richard Fisher. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 7, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
