71, Sydney It is with great sadness that we announce that passing of Donald Hine, which occurred Sunday Aug. 10, 2008, at the Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility. Born in Burtts Corner, N.B., he was the son of the late Bernard and Dora (Bird) Hine. He was a member of the armed forces and travelled overseas, and later became a plumber by trade. Donnie is survived by his two sons, Eric (Sharon) Hine, Edmonton, Alta., Jamie Hine, New Brunswick; three sisters, Marion (Eldred) Love, Mactaquac, N.B., Jean Branscombe, Fredericton, N.B., Doris (Andrew) Berna, Kamloops, B.C.; brother, Richard ‘Rick’ (Debbie) Hine; mother of his children, Elva Hine as well as three grandchildren, Brian, Rodney and Crystal Hine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Lloyd. Cremation has taken place.
