RUSSELL, SARAH "SALLY" MARY - The death of Sarah "Sally" Mary (Cunningham) Russell of Nauwigewauk, widow of Gordon Russell occurred June 16, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born at Newcastle, NB, daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Ann (Vienneau) Cunningham.? Sally was Post Mistress at Nauwigewauk for many years before working at Hampton Pharmacy from 1970 - 1987. She resided all her married life in Nauwigewauk where she received a Lifetime Membership from Nauwigewauk Community Club and Nauwigewauk Darlings Seniors. Sally was a member of C.W.L. at St. Alphonsus Church, Hampton and the Ladies Auxiliary, Hampton Branch #28, Royal Canadian Legion. She is survived by three daughters Anne Marie Shaw of Fairfield, NB, Sharon Russell of Halifax, NS, Lynn Kilpatrick of Saint John, NB; one son Stephen Russell (Heather) of Beaver Bank, NS; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, one sister Beatrice Taylor; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters Ida, Mona, Eleanor and two half-brothers Clyde and George Holmes. ??? Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Friday at St. Alphonsus Church, Hampton, with funeral mass at 12 noon. Interment in Acadian Loyalist Cemetery, French Village. Memorials to Canadian Cancer Society or Hampton Food Basket would be appreciated by the family. A Ladies Auxiliary tribute will be held Wednesday at 7pm and Parish Prayer Vigil will be held Thursday at 7pm at the funeral home.
