WALL, RUTH EVELYN (COOPER) - The death of Ruth Evelyn (Cooper) Wall of Gagetown, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thursday, June 19th, 2003. Born on July 29, 1924 in Gagetown, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Helena (Tompkins) Cooper, and wife of George Wall. Ruth was life member of the Women's Institute and was an enthusiastic gardener and quilter. For many years she worked with her husband George in the family owned poultry business. Ruth enjoyed time spend with her family and she will be sadly missed. Survived by her loving husband of fifty-seven years, George Caswallen Wall; two daughters, Carol Mayes (John) of Westfield, NB, and Barbara Colpitts of Brampton, ON; five grandchildren, Andrew Colpitts, Michelle Colpitts -Fry (Bob), and Brian Colpitts, Angela, and Julie Mayes; two great-grandchildren, Rickey and Brayden; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; one sister, Jane Cooper. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Saturday, June 21st, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, June 22nd, at 2:00 pm. With Rev. Jennifer Brown officiating. Following the service the interment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Burton NB.
