WATTERS, FREDERICK EDWIN - The death of Mr. Frederick Edwin Watters (Sunny), loving husband of Jean (Campbell), of Saint John, occurred on July 1, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born September 13, 1934 in Saint John, he was the son of May R. (Stubbs) Watters and the late Frederick W. Watters. Fred was employed with NB Tel for 28 years prior to retiring in 1991, he was a member of Silver Falls United Church where he served on the Session, Stewarts and Board of Trustees. Besides his loving wife Jean, he is survived by his daughters Linda (David) Allan of Quispamsis and Laura vanZuylen of Saint John; grandchildren Michelle, Katharyn, Ian and Janine; sisters Dorothy Keohan of Moncton, Donna Sproul of Saint John, Doris (Bill) Nelson of Saint John and Darlene (Ian) Silliker of Calgary; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Frederick W. and brothers Robert and Gary Watters. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Silver Falls United Church on Friday July 4, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Following cremation, a private family interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
