FERGUSON, JAMES MURRAY SR. - The death of James Murray Ferguson Sr. of Nauwigewauk, husband of the late of Bernadetta (Parker) Ferguson occurred July 13, 2003 at Moncton Hospital. He was born at Saint John, son of the late Clarence and Hilda (Merry) Ferguson. He was a forty year employee with McAvity's and Crane & Clow retiring in 1997. James was a longtime resident of Nauwigewauk where he was a member of Nauwigewauk Community Club. He enjoyed the outdoors and camping. He is survived by four daughters Margaret Chambers of Rothesay, Kathleen Cook of Saint John, Mary Savoy (Gordon) of Fredericton, Kelly Ferguson of Rothesay; four sons, James Murray Jr. (Loretta) of Hampton, George (Laura) of St. Martins, Joseph (Casey) of Ontario, Thomas (Denise) of Saint John; special friend Willa Cramm; four sisters, Hilda Richardson (Weldon) of Sussex, Cora Jean Richardson (Walter) of Sussex, Laura Murphy (George) of B.C., Freda Murphy (Arnold) of Sussex; three brothers Robert (Erma) of Quispamsis, Frank of Norton, Clarence (Betty) of B.C.; three step-brothers James of Woodstock, John of Sussex, Walter of Alma; 23 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son Walter and two brothers Fred and Don. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Wednesday at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with service at 10:00 am. Rev. Marshall Caldwell officiating. Interment in Hampton Rural Cemetery. Memorials to N.B. Lung Association or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Visiting 7-9pm Monday and 2-4pm and 7-9pm Tuesday. www.reidsfh.com
