EVA MAE BRIGHT
BRIGHT, EVA MAE - Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit, Saint John Regional Hospital, with her family present, on July 17, 2003, Mrs. Eva Mae (Campbell) Bright, wife of the late Joseph E. Bright of Pocologan, NB. Born in Pocologan on January 22, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Edward Chase and Stella (Dixon) Campbell. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, she is survived by one daughter, Marjorie (Mrs. Robert Bodaly) of Saint John; one grandson, Stephen (Darlene) of Saint John; one great-granddaughter, Jennifer Dawn, and one great grandson, Kody William, both of Saint John; four sisters, Annie Hardie of Saint John, Kathleen Campbell and Mildred Boyd, both of Pocologan, and Marion Boyd of Pennfield; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by eight sisters and five brothers. Eva was an avid gardener who enjoyed her garden. Prior to her retirement, she had worked for Connor's Brothers Ltd. in Blacks Harbour for 22 years as well as custodian for the Board of School Trustees at Pocologan School for 7 years. Resting at St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB (755-3533), with visiting on Friday from 7 - 9 p.m and Saturday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The service will be held at The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Sunday, July 20, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Pennfield Rural Cemetery.
