STEEN, LEVINA STEEN, LEVINA - The death of Levina (Peters) Steen, beloved wife of the late Clement Steen occurred in Chicago, U.S.A. on July 29, 2003. She was born in Tignish, P.E.I. Daughter of the late Herbert and Alice (Perry) Peters, she resided in West Saint John with her family for a number of years, and later took up residency in Chicago. She was a member of the Assumption Parish. She is survived by her four children, three sons and one daughter, Ronald and his wife Patricia, Douglas and his wife Karen, Brian and his wife Roberta, Marlene all of Chicago; and ten grandchildren, Anthony Pedretti, Rene Williamson, Michael Pedretti, Jacquelin Hausman, Karen Steen, Derek Steen, Joel Steen, Christian Steen, Paul Sleboda and Michael Sleboda; and four great grandchildren, Matthew Hausman, Levi Steen, Scarlet Steen and Alexis Sleboda. In addition, she is survived by one brother, Edgar Peters and his wife Mel of Tignish, P.E.I. and three sisters, Georgie Castonguay of Toronto, Viola Gauthier, Vangie Jeffrey, and Lauretta Butler all of Saint John, one sister-in-law, Jean Steen, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, remembrances of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
