SAMSON, FLORENCE ROSSETTA (ROSE) - Passed away quietly at home on August 2. Born in Saint John, daughter of the late Margaret (Harrity) and William Wheaton, Rose was predeceased by her loving husband Peter and sisters Willa Wheaton, Constance Brown and Myrna London. She is survived by her sister Ethel Flewelling, nephews Bill London and Eric Flewelling, and nieces Stephanie MacCallum and Willa London. Rose grew up in Saint John and worked for many years in Toronto and Montreal before retiring with Peter to Sidney, BC in 1987. Rose and Peter traveled extensively and shared wonderful times with their numerous friends and acquaintances. They moved home to Saint John in 2002. At the family's request, there will be no visitation. A private committal will take place at a later date. Donations may be made to the memorial of the donor's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fundy Funeral Home.
