90, Glace Bay It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Veronica Hanrahan, on August 22, 2008 at the Glace Bay Health Care Complex, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Catherine (MacIntosh) Aucoin. She was a member of Holy Family Parish. Veronica is survived by her two daughters; Diane Romard, Patsy (Fred) Warren; daughter-in-law, Linda Hanrahan; two sons, David (Mary), Michael (Debbie); son-in-law, Guy Viger; one sister, Sharon (Billie) Clarke; one brother, Steve (Beef) Aucoin and by her special cat, Callie. She is also survived by a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Veronica was predeceased by her husband, Alonzo Hanrahan; daughter, Annette Viger; sons, Lonnie and Roger Hanrahan; son-in-law, Joe Romard; sisters, Stasia, Merrill Aucoin, Mary Reed, Jennie Hurley; brothers, Kenny, Lawrence and Johnnie Aucoin. Visitation for the late Veronica Hanrahan will be on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in Patten Funeral Home & Chapel, 71 Union St. Glace Bay, 849-7520. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008 at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Parish, Reserve Street Glace Bay.
