ROY, GERALD ARTHUR - The death of Gerald Arthur Roy, of Oromocto, NB, occurred on August 9, 2003, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton. Born in Chilliwack, BC, he was the son of Margaret (Stewart) (Roy) McCuaig and the late Romero Donald Roy. He was with the Canadian Armed Forces, Aircraft Maintenance, before his recent retirement. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Oromocto. ?He loved his four cats. Besides his mother he is survived by his brothers Richard and his wife Trina of Saint John, Brian of Halifax, Allain of Saint John, his sisters Nola Comeau and her husband Keith of Saint John, Dorothy Nini and her husband Mario of Bathurst, his aunt Cecile Roy and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Following cremation at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), the family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, August 13, 2003, from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM at which time the funeral service will be held.
