COSTELLO, EDITH ANNIE - Loving mother and dear friend to all those who knew her, died peacefully at the Kennebec Manor Nursing Home on Monday August 11, 2003. Born December 19, 1910 in Nottingham, England, Edith moved to Saint John with her husband James after WWII. Edith will be fondly remembered by all those whose lives she touched with her compassionate heart, bright eyes, ready smile and contagious laughter. Edith was an avid reader and writer, who was always there for those in need. Edith is survived by her three children James (Barbara), Gregory Vincent (Ann Marie) and Carol; nine grandchildren Ann Marie, Christine, Kathy, Brian, Jan, David, Stephanie, Kristen and Gregory, as well as several great grandchildren. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday August 14, 2003 at 10 a.m. Following cremation, the interment will take place at a later date.
