HOVEY, DOROTHY M. - Dorothy M. Hovey of Saint John died peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on August 11, 2003. She was born in Central Hampstead. She was the wife of the late Lester Robert Hovey and the daughter of the late Kenneth and Annie (Fifield) Davis. She spent the greater part of her life in Saint John and was a member of Lighthouse of Faith Church. Dorothy is survived by two daughters Mary Hovey and Carol Wright (Kenneth) all of Saint John, one brother Robert Davis of Saint John and one sister Marion Stackhouse (Fred) of Saint John East. She is also survived by one granddaughter Carolyn Davis (Randy) and three great grandchildren Kayla, Josh, Kyle as well as several nieces and nephews. Resting at the A.W. Cavanagh Funeral Home, 91 Leinster Street 634-1712 with visitation on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The service will be held on Friday August 15, at 2:00pm in the Cavanagh Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Cedar Hill Ext. Cemetery to follow.
