SIMEON J. CRAMM
CRAMM, SIMEON J. - The death of Simeon J. Cramm of Saint John, husband of the late Frances (Williamson) Cramm, occurred on Sunday, August 17, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Old Perlican, NF on August 12, 1916, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Bursey) Cramm. Mr. Cramm graduated from Saint John High School and Saint John Vocational School. He was employed with Lantic Sugar Ltd for 44 years before his retirement. Mr. Cramm, is survived by his niece, Jillian Patriquen (David Cook); nephews, Robert Warr (Faye) of Saint John and Stephen Patriquen (Frances Hutchinson) of London, UK and several cousins residing in New Brunswick and Newfoundland . He was a former member of the Lions Club and former member of Exsmouth Street United Church and was on the Board of Stewards. He was also an adherent of the Portland United Church. He enjoyed basketball, gardening, shuffleboard, and spending time at his cottage in Quispamsis, and also wintering in Florida for the past 20 years. He was predeceased by two sisters, Florence Cramm in infancy and Myrtle Weatherhead. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424), with visitation, Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held, Wednesday, August 20, 2003, at 2:30 PM at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held Friday, August 22, 2003 at 1:00 PM in Cedar Hill Extention Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society, Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children and Canadian Cancer Society.
