THERESA MARY WIRVIN

WIRVIN, THERESA MARY - Theresa Mary Wirvin of Wolfville, Kings County, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully at home, Saturday, August 16, 2003. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, she was a daughter of William and Jean Brown, Saint John. She attended St. Vincent's High School and graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing, both in Saint John. She is survived by her husband, Brian; three sons, Michael, Boston, Massachusetts, his wife, Lori, and their daughter, Katherine; Brian, Calgary, Alberta, his fiancée, Darlene Himick; Christopher, Halifax, his wife, Carolyn, and their son, Liam; two sisters, Susan Lane, Annapolis Royal and Jane MacMillan, Saint John. She was predeceased by a brother, William. She was an outstanding mother and wife. Throughout her life, she had a long love of books and reading. She was a person of courage, wit, and most of all, honesty and integrity. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. There will be no visitation by family request. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2003 in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Kentville, Nova Scotia, Father Craig Christenson officiating. Family flowers only by request. Burial will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Kentville. There will also be a memorial mass held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 25, 2003 in St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Somerset Street, Saint John. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the W.C. Hiltz/White Family Funeral Home, Kentville.
