CRAWFORD, HILDA - The death of Hilda Crawford, wife of the late Joseph A. Crawford, occurred on August 17, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in River-du-chute, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Eliza J. Curry. She loved birds, dogs and gardening. She is survived by her sons Alexander `Sandy' (Gloria) of Terrace, BC, Michael (Marcie) of Saint John, her grandchildren Ryan, Martin, Jeffrey, Corey and Erin and several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been predeceased by her brothers Frank and Ernie and her sisters Edna and Edith. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2003, at 11:00 AM from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery.
