HARMER, DIANE G. - The death of Diane G. Harmer of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, August 25th, 2003. Born on May 4th, 1948 in Galt, Ontario. To my many friends, when you see this you'll know my battle with Inflammatory Cancer has come to an end. This closes the door to work on 3NE at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton; I worked there for over fifteen years and enjoyed both my work and colleagues. My daughter, Shawna, was a special gift from heaven. Through her all good things happened including the tender loving care she gave me. My friends have been awesome in their love and generosity. I'm leaving behind my three beautiful grandchildren, Christophe, Isabella and Celeina; sons, Shane Jost, and Tony Asprey; daughter, Shawna and son-in-law Daniel Basque; sister, Susan and Rick Boswell, and their daughter Erin. I will also be lovingly missed by my parents, Isabella and Ronald Harmer along with other family members. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 26th, 2003 from 1-3 and 6-8 PM. There will be no funeral service by request.
