EARL WARD STEWART
STEWART, EARL WARD - Ward Stewart, age 74, husband of Lois (Seymour) Stewart, of Lower Millstream, New Brunswick, died at the Sussex Health Centre, August 5, 2003. He was born in Highfield, Queens Co.,, NB, the son of the late R. Earl and Emma (Ward) Stewart. Ward had been an avid truck driver until his retirement in 1994, and he was a member of the Millstream Fire Department. He enjoyed his family, camping, travelling and working in his garage. Ward is survived by his wife, daughters; Judy & David Armstrong, Mt. Middleton, Brenda & Murray Belding, Pleasant Ridge, sons; Eric and Mary, Russell & Terreena, Sussex, grandchildren; Jo-Ann & John Armstrong Morris, April & Roger Belding, Matthew Stewart, Sarah Michaud, step grandchildren Shane Gilliland, Kenneth & Janita Steeves, and Benjamin Hovey, great grandsons; Joshua and Jordan Morris, brother; Merton & Lucy Stewart, Lower Millstream, sisters; Pauline & George Muir, Berwick, Shirley Howe, Sussex, Celia & Dave a a Seymour, Berwick and Carole & Don Hayes, Sussex, aunts; Alice Robinson, Fredericton, Edna Powell, North Carolina, and Helen Jarvis, Riverview, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by infant brother Cyril and sister Helen. A graveside service, conducted by Bill Sherwood, was be held at 11:00am, Saturday, August 9, 2003, at the Wesley United Cemetery, Berwick. The service was based on memories of Ward. Music Precious Memories by George Jones and Peggy Leigh. George Sharp long time friend of the family spoke of the years associated with the family with very personal memories. Candles were lighted to reflect the life of Ward by his Wife, children, grandchildren & great grandchildren, brother and sisters and in-laws. Interment was carried out by Brenda and Russell. A reception and fellowship was held at the Millstream Recreational Hall following the service can.
