STUCKEY, ELLEN "BLANCHE" - Died peacefully at the Bayview Special Care Home on August 24, 2003. She was born in Sops Island, Newfoundland and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Jane Pittman and the wife of the late Thomas Stuckey. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Blanche lived the greater part of her life in Saint John and was employed at City Laundry as a seamstress until retiring. She was a member of Trinity Anglican Church, ACW, Young Women's Guild and was a member of the NB Senior Citizens Federation. Resting at A.W. Cavanagh Funeral Home, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at Trinity Anglican Church at 10:00am followed by internment in Oceanview Cemetery.
