DUFFY, MARTHA LOUISE RN - At her residence on August 24, 2003 Martha Louise (Thibodeau) Duffy of Rothesay N.B. wife of Gerald Duffy. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of Betty (Bent) Thibodeau and the late Carl Thibodeau. Martha was employed with the Saint John Regional Hospital for over 20 years as a registered nurse before transferring to the Extra Mural Hospital. She was a member of Curves Exercise Club, and she enjoyed camping and kayaking. Surviving in addition to her husband Gerald and her mother Betty are one son Troy R. Griffin of Barrie Ontario, three brothers Paul Thibodeau and his wife Tina of Saint John, Terry Thibodeau of Saint John and Michael Thibodeau of Fredericton N.B., maternal grandmother Edna Bent of Saint John, several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701). Funeral service will be held at the "Fallsview" Chapel on Wednesday August 27, 2003 at 1:30 PM. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visiting at "Fallsview" from 2 - 9 PM Tuesday, August 26, 2003. Donations to Hospice or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
