ADAMS, EDWARD ALBERT - Of Hampton, former long time resident of Saint John died peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on September 2, 2003. He was the son of the late Edward and Eileen Adams and husband of Nancy (Molasky) Adams. Edward worked as a taxi driver for over 35 years until retiring in 1996. He was a phenomenal husband, father and grandfather and devoted his life to his family. He is survived by three sons Preston A. Adams of Hampton, R. Leigh Adams (Wendy) of Owen Sound, ON and Roger L. Adams of Saint John, four daughters; Leona Deakin (Greg) of Owen Sound, ON, Marlene Adams of Alberta, Kristal Bennett (Kevin) of Saint John and Vicki Adams of Owen Sound; one brother Walter Adams (Christine) of Lower Sackville, NS; six sisters, Dorothy MacLaurin (Charlie) of Charlottetown, PEI, Bertha Adams of Charlottetown, PEI, Fay Collings (Jim) of Mount Stewart, PEI, Lea Warren (Rick) of Saint John, Judy Childs (Bob) of Charlottetown, PEI and Grace Adams (Joe) of Charlottetown, PEI; 14 grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Mary Humphries. Resting at A. W. Cavanagh Funeral Home, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm in Cavanagh's Chapel followed by a private family internment at Ocean View Cemetery.
