JONES, FREDERICK - Mr. Frederick Jones, of 1201 Rothesay Road Saint John, NB passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on August 31, 2003. Born in Stanley, NB on April 29, 1927, he was the son of the late Matthew Jones and Louisa Jones. He is survived by his beloved wife Joy E. (Rodgerson) Jones, two daughters, Beverly Good and her husband James of Oromocto, Krista Sequeira and her husband Arron of Calgary, Alberta, five grandchildren, Carrie-Anne, Kristapher, Allyson, Aja and Kirin, his brother, Ralph, as well as several nieces and nephews. Fred was predeceased by four sisters, Maude, Margaret, Jenny and Lena and by four brothers, Jim, Bill, Bert and Claire. Fred was a member of the Local 213, Plumbers and Pipefitters, the Jarvis Bay Legion Branch # 53 and the Liars Club at the Mall. Prior to his retirement Fred worked 30 years for W. J. Crawford Plumbing and Heating. He was an avid dart player, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, shuffle board trailering at the Bay. After his retirement he enjoyed playing golf. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitation on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 4, 2003 at 2:00 pm. In Lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made to the Kidney Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice.
