KELLEY, BERNARD HAROLD - The death of Mr. Bernard Harold Kelley, husband of the late Rita E. (Whalen), of Saint John, occurred on Monday September 1, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born September 10, 1925 in Saint John he was the son of the late Frederick and Helen (Condon) Kelley. Bernie worked for McAvity's for many years, retiring from Irving Paper Ltd in 1989. He was a member of Silver Falls United Church. He is survived by his son Fred (Tammy) of Saint John; daughter Susan (Doug) Button of Saint John; two brothers Donald Kelley of Saint John and Gerry (Sylvia) Kelley of B.C.; three grandchildren Kristen, James and Colin Button; several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Earl and Ronald; sisters Helen Fulton and Shirley Doherty. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday September 2, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Silver Falls United Church on Wednesday September 3, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
