CORNISH, MARY LEONA - At Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB, on Thursday September 11, 2003, Mary Leona Cornish peacefully entered the presence of the Lord. Much-loved wife of Richard Alexander Cornish of Upper Mills, NB. Her presence is sorely missed. Not only to us, but also to many others. A caring Mother, a source of great blessing and encouragement. Survived by her husband Richard, son Brian Cornish Sr. (Susan McAleenan) of Saint John, grandchildren, Brian Cornish Jr. (Alanna Mersereau) of Hampton NB, Jennifer Johnston (Joseph Johnston) of Mayfield NB and Andrew Cornish of Saint John, NB, great grandchildren, Zachary, Brayden and Parker, brother Eldon Vienneau of Calgary, sisters Winnifred Holmes of Toronto, Annie Montague of Edmonton and Hilda Savoy of Miramichi, Mildred Gaudet of Moncton and many nephews and nieces. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, Milltown Blvd., St. Stephen, NB on Monday September 15, 2003 at 11AM with Rev. Paul Riley officiating. Interment at Milltown Roman Catholic Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB (506-466-1844) on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM. A devoted servant of the Blessed Virgin Mary, It is our prayer that our family might uphold her spiritual legacy and that the blessings of her life will continue to touch many lives.
