LLOYD G. DYKEMAN

DYKEMAN, LLOYD G. - Lloyd G. Dykeman of Bridgewater, N.S. passed away August 11, 2003, at the South Shore Regional Hospital. He was born in Saint John, N.B. in 1918, son of the late Orland S. Dykeman and Iva M. (Orchard) Dykeman. As a well known Manufacturer's Agent, he travelled widely in the Atlantic Provinces for many years. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas with the Canadian Army Infantry Corp. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 24, Bridgewater, Maritime Commercial Traveller's Association, Luxor Shrine, Saint John, N.B.; Acacia Lodge No. 39 and the Bridgewater Hand Gun Club. He was President of Lectro Sales Limited, Dartmouth, N.S. He is survived by his wife Margery; daughters, Patricia (Mrs. R. Schneider) of Chilliwack, B.C., Cheryl of Rothesay, N.B., Karen of Toronto, Ontario and son Derek of Toronto, Ontario; stepsons, Gregory (Evelyn), Terry (Heather) and Geoffrey (Carol) all of Bridgewater, N.S., nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his sister Muriel of Rothesay, N.B. He was predeceased by his brother Hazen of Rothesay, N.B. and sister Evelyn of Newport, R.I..
