STACKHOUSE, JOHN CLAYTON - The death of John C. Stackhouse occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on September 21st, 2003. Born in Saint John, NB. On November 25th, 1921, he was the son of the late James and Frances (Craig) Stackhouse. John is survived by his wife; Margaret (Sisk), two sons; Terry (Charlene) and Derek (Tanya) both of Saint John, four stepsons; Ernest (Connie) Pitre of Saint John, Joseph (Joan) Pitre of Toronto, Donald (Jeanette) Pitre of Saint John, and Ronald (Patti) Pitre of Saint John, two daughters; Lynn and friend Karen of Edmonton, Alberta, Wanda (Nathan) Benjamin of Saint John, three stepdaughters; Holly Pitre of Saint John, Cathy (James) Whelly of Saint John and Linda (Bob) Doucet of Quispamsis. Two sisters; Ellen Jenkins of Saint John, and Caroline Devenne of Saint John. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his first wife Irene Leblanc, two sons; John and Robert and by a sister Mildred Walsh. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John NB. (646-2424) With visitation on Monday September 22nd, 2003 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm with the Funeral Service being held on Tuesday at 11am at the Fundy Funeral Home "Chapel" with Rev. Bill LeGrand officiating. Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
