WILLIAM PATRICK "BUSTER" WALSH

WALSH, WILLIAM PATRICK "BUSTER" - William Patrick "Buster" Walsh of St. John Street West. Died peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on September 22, 2003. He was born in Saint John and was the husband of Mary Ellen "Pearl" Walsh and son of the late Frank and Celina Walsh. Buster was a WWII Veteran serving overseas with the Canadian Armed Forces. He was employed as a letter carrier for Canada Post and could be seen walking the streets in all weather conditions delivering the mail for over 30 years. He was an outdoors man and loved fishing. He is survived by one son Peter Walsh, two sisters Beatrice and Helen. Also several nieces and nephews. Resting at A.W. Cavanagh Funeral Home, 91 Leinster Street, 634-1712 with visiting on Tuesday from 7-9 pm. The service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am in Cavanagh's Chapel followed by burial at Greenwood Cemetery. www.awcavanagh.com
