ERNEST J. SISK

SISK, ERNEST J. - The death of Ernest J. Sisk of 70 Glenview Ave., husband of Joan E. McRae, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, September 24, 2003. Mr. Sisk was born in Pokeshaw, N.B., a son of the late Ernest and Celina (Landry) Sisk, and had lived the greater part of his life in Saint John, where he was employed as a heavy equipment operator and taxi driver. He was a member of Local 946 and Royal Canadian Legion Carleton Branch. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Austin. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Ernest (Stacey) and Trevor (Michelle Madore), both of Saint John, and Trent of Keswick, Ont.; six daughters, Iris Dagavel (Andy Stevenson), Eda Reed (Mark), Alice Hatfield (David), Janet Sisk, Cynthia Stanley (Brian), and Charmaine Sisk, all of Saint John; four brothers, Frank (Mina) of Beresford, N.B., Vincent (Helen) of North Bay, Ont., Thomas (Madeline) of Calgan, Ont., and Patrick (Frances) of Red Deer, Al.; four sisters, Margaret Stackhouse of Saint John, Gertrude Fraser of Robertville, N.B., Mary Henry (James) of South Tetagouche, N.B., and Ann Trusler (George) of North Bay; 13 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday morning at ten o'clock. www.fitzpatrickfh.com
