CAPTAIN (RETIRED) DAVID HENRY BROWN
BROWN, CAPTAIN (RETIRED) DAVID HENRY - David Henry Brown - 59, of Kentville passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2003 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Bonny River, New Brunswick, he was a son of the late Joseph and Minnie (Kinney) Brown. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces and was stationed in Germany, Shilo, Gagetown, Halifax, Petawawa, Ottawa, Trenton and Borden, retiring with the rank of Captain after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Federal Superannuates National Association and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Kings Branch No. 6, Kentville. He enjoyed hunting and fishing especially with his brother-in-law, the late Eldon Walsh. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Anne (Walsh) Brown; sister, Joan (Ross) Norman, St. George, New Brunswick. There will no visitation by family request. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2003 in the Gaspereau Baptist Church, Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating.
